Well, if you're having more than three bowel movements per day, you should use the powders, rather than the Healthy Trinity. Otherwise, if you find it more convenient to take the probiotics in capsule form (whether individual capsules for each species or combined in the Healthy Trinity), no problem. Note: The individual capsules (only one species per capsule) should be taken on an empty stomach, just like the powdered probiotics. The Healthy Trinity CAN be taken with food, if you prefer, just not within two hours of onions, garlic, WOO or other natural antibiotics. Jini's made it easy for us by vetting the vitamin products/manufacturers she sells at the Holistic Health Shoppe. However, that certainly doesn't mean you can only take those particular vitamins. See the section "Using the Supplements in this Program" on pages 48-57 of Listen To Your Gut, for guidelines on choosing vitamin and mineral products.
